It also comes with a metal plate that works as a lid to cover the firepit burner with the logs and lava stones when not in use. It can hold and hide up to 5kg propane gas bottle which is hidden away from vision in a compartment below and doubles up as a contemporary design feature. A deliberate decision was made to make the fire pits work only on propane gas, and not on natural gas. Propane is one of the purest fuels in terms of CO2 emission and is a substitution for both the extraction of natural gas and the refining of crude oil.
